Cricket West Indies (CWI) has named a 15-man squad for the first two matches of their upcoming T20I series against England, set to be played at the historic Kensington Oval in Barbados. The West Indies T20 team has shown remarkable strength at home, remaining unbeaten in four consecutive T20I series since 2023. This impressive streak has helped boost their ranking in the ICC Men’s T20I Team standings.

Head Coach Daren Sammy expressed confidence in the selected squad, stating, “This T20 team is our most settled, with a good mix of experienced players. The challenge will be finalizing the playing eleven, as every player is pushing for a spot. We’re up against a strong England side, but I’m confident our squad will continue playing a brand of cricket that gives us a competitive edge in this Rivalry series.”
The squad sees the return of key players Akeal Hosein, Shimron Hetmyer, Nicholas Pooran, and Andre Russell, who were unavailable for the recent series against Sri Lanka. Their inclusion adds significant depth and experience to the side. Medium pacer Matthew Forde, who earned the Player of the Series title in the recent ODI series against England, joins as a replacement for Alzarri Joseph, who is serving a two-match suspension.
The five-match series kicks off on November 9 in Barbados, with the second match also scheduled at Kensington Oval on November 10. The final three games will be held at St Lucia’s Daren Sammy National Cricket Stadium on November 14, 16, and 17.
