Cricket enthusiasts are eagerly anticipating the league opener, which begins with a match between the Carolina Eagles and the California Golden Eagles, followed by the Mavericks’ debut game later that day.
Shubham Ranjane Embraces Leadership
Maryland Mavericks captain Shubham Ranjane is excited about the opportunity to lead his team in this highly competitive tournament. Reflecting on his role, the 30-year-old Pune-born cricketer expressed, “Captaining the Maryland Mavericks is both an honor and a significant responsibility. Leading such a talented group of players, planning strategies, and motivating the team to excel is incredibly fulfilling.”
Ranjane, who has played 34 T20 matches, is impressed by the rising prominence of the USPL on the international cricket stage. “The US Premier League is gaining global recognition, and leading a team in this league allows you to demonstrate leadership, showcase skills, and bring out the best in your teammates while contributing to the team’s success,” he added.

The semi-finals are slated for November 29, with the grand finale set to take place on December 1.
