He expressed concern for his son’s safety within the system, stating, “My child is not safe. They will blame Sanju for everything, and people will believe them. I don’t want him to continue playing for Kerala.”

Viswanath also made an emotional plea to other state cricket boards, requesting opportunities for his son to continue his cricketing journey outside Kerala. He expressed a willingness to relocate if another association extended an invitation to Sanju. “If any state wants to give my son a chance, we are ready to move. Sanju has devoted his entire life to cricket, and this is how he’s being treated,” he said.
